Story Review

Story Travel Talk Roaming Sim is a relative new roaming sim provider, and we have been looking forward to reviewing the roaming sim card.
We received the card 2 days after ordering it.
The card arrived with an instruction manual, it's important to notice the pin of the card as they are unique to each card and you need to activate it before you travel abroad. We had forgot the pin, but their customer service is excellent and they could help right away. To top-up the card you can use their website http://www.storytelecom.com/roamingsims/ or you can top up dialing the number 80404 from your roaming sim it's very easy to use.

Story Travel talk have a good coverage worldwide, and they also have free inbound calls in almost 80 countries when roaming.

Customer Service:
Excellent, Story Telecom's Roaming Sim division is excellent, they answer both emails and calls.

Quality of Calls:
This is as god as it gets, we tested roaming in both Europe and in the United states and you can’t tell the difference from a normal call, the quality is excellent.

Call Connection:
The call-back was instant,it only took seconds, in one occasion it failed becasue we tried using a local number, but otherwise there were no conection issues at all.

Text Messaging:
As easy as normal Text messaging, the text messages arrives as your Story Travel Talk Roaming Sim number and the recipient can reply to that number immediately, and will only pay normal text charges, note there are some of the destinations they don't offer text messages on when roaming, but it works in most countries.

Data Roaming:
GPRS data roaming is not available yet on the Story Travel Talk Roaming Sim.

Ease of Use:
We put the Story Roaming Sim card in our phone entered teh pin code as provided in the pack, and within minutes it was working and we had no problems using the card in the following phones Nokia N70, Sony Ericsson W850i, Nokia 6300, Nokia e51 and a HTC Touch Cruise.

Value for money:
Story Travel Talk Roaming Sim is value for money, it's chap to buy and it's a card you keep. Their rates are lower on a number of dstinations so check which destinations you travel to most often before your buy the roaming sim.
